I have always said that the OCR Community is very giving. I want to do my part in rewarding those givers while simultaneously helping out one of the most giving people in our sport. Zack Paben, founder of More Heart Than Scars, has sacrificed personal gain in order to help those struggling with major issues. While he has no regrets, those sacrifices have jeopardized his own health and finances.
For Those Who Would (a 501c3 non-profit charity founded in the OCR community) has initiated a fundraising campaign to help offset the huge financial burden from his hospital stay and to help him receive the care needed to prevent future, potentially life-threatening health issues.
I am raffling a free entry to any 2016 regular open heat Spartan Race to contributors to Zack’s campaign. (Thanks Spartan Race for providing the entry.) Every $5 donation will earn 1 entry (i.e., $50 donation is 10 entries). Contributors who also share this post or the campaign website will receive an additional entry. Raffle entries will be accepted through January 27 and the winner will be randomly chosen.
